6.30 am local breakfast. (4.30 am uk) First dig day. Long drive today to our most southerly site so far in the project. All new and exciting with a range of features no-one has ever investigated. None of the equipment flight cases have arrived yet which means we will have to re-think some of the activities for today, as no metal detectors, camera tripod, measuring sticks etc are here, although we are fortunate to have equipment left previously at the university.
